This subject is available as a 1 day face-to-face course, or 2 hour virtual training course (plus 30 mins. 1:1 virtual coaching)
The ability to develop team members and workplace colleagues is an essential skill for managers in the modern workplace. The Coaching for Improved Performance course will provide managers, team leaders – or indeed anyone with an interest in developing others – with the skills, tools and confidence to successfully undertake this activity.
This course is offered on a stand-alone basis, or can be combined with the Training Skills for Occasional Trainers course to provide a broader range of skills in developing others at work.
By the end of this course participants will be able to:
- Know what it takes to be an effective workplace coach
- Understand the role and responsibilities of effective coaches
- Learn a recognised coaching model, and the tools and techniques to support it
- Practice new coaching skills in a supportive environment
- Apply coaching in their own place of work
