What is Virtual Learning?
Virtual learning uses the online environment to deliver content and learning experiences in a variety of physical locations.
It encompasses a range of techniques from self-directed learning, message boards, pre-written online courses; through to live interactive training, coaching & mentoring.
When a range of techniques are used together, this is more commonly termed 'blended learning'.
Why Virtual Learning?
Virtual learning offers benefits to learners and organisations alike. It is cost-effective, can be delivered in a variety of locations in a timely and consistent manner.
Recent world events have meant that traditional modes of face to face training delivery can no longer be used.
This change has increased awareness and acceptance of online learning and accelerated the development of supporting technologies.
Our approach
Our goal is to make virtual learning fun, enjoyable and relevant to the working environment.
Our course design team's guiding principle is to 'design for virtual'. We focus as much on the quality of the learning experience as the subject matter.
We therefore do not deliver former 'off the shelf' face-to-face courses in an online environment. We do not offer webinars, recordings or repurposed content.
All our courses are delivered live using the familiar platforms including Adobe Connect, Zoom, Webex, MS Teams.
